35 coaches at institutions in Clark County earned $123,018 on average in 2022

Clark County’s 35 coaches earned an average salary of $123,018 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Nevada post-secondary schools during 2022.

Clark County is home to two post-secondary schools that paid coaches during 2022. Among them, University of Nevada-Las Vegas stood out with the highest average coaching salary of $227,992.

Male coaches of men's teams received $269,784 on average in Clark County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $74,875.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
